You can add any tincture to this pumpkin bread, but we tried something we’ve never done – our beloved Full Spectrum CBD Sleep Tincture in one of our favorite fall treats for the perfect after dinner wind down. Doesn’t CBD degrade at high temperatures?
Yes, it does! But because of the moisture provided by the pumpkin purée, the internal temperature of this bread tops out around 200°F, even though the oven is at 375°F. You may lose some of the potent benefits of CBD closer to the outside of the loaf, but the bread still contain lots of that hemp goodness. If you’re worried about losing any tincture to the heat, you can also modify this recipe by making an icing to drizzle over the top.
How should I dose this recipe?
It’s totally up to you! We added slightly over 2mL of tincture in this loaf, which means that each of the 8 slices contains a low dose of around 10-15mg of CBD, and 5mg each of CBG and CBN. But you can definitely add more if you’re a seasoned CBD user.
